Honeysuckle - Unusual honeysuckle pendant with a twisted silver bail and 18" (46cm) waxed cotton necklace - I was found on a walk [047-0112]

An unusual shaped pendant made from honeysuckle. This is a slice through the stem showing the end grain with a star like pattern and finished with a gloss wax. The edges are lrounded. It's very light despite looking quite chunky. A twisted sterling silver bail connects it to the necklace. The necklace is 18"/46cm black waxed cotton finished with a sterling silver bolt ring clasp.

It's roughly 6cm x 5.5cm x 1.5cm thick.

I found this hanging down from a tree while walking around Corsham. The honeysuckle was dead so I grabbed some of the main stem.
