Gorse - Beautifully grained spalted gorse pendant - I was found on a walk [025-0068]

A beautiful and unique pendant made from spalted gorse showing a red colour in the grain. It has bark on the back adding texture and with the hole it makes it a very tactile piece of jewellery. You’ll be fiddling with it all day long.

The pendant is approximately 5cm x 4.7cm x 1.3cm.

It has a black, waxed cotton necklace which is adjustable from roughly 40-80cm (16-31”) using sterling silver crimps which act like sliding knots.

I picked this gorse up when walking near Studland in Dorset after the gorse had been cut back to clear the paths (and possibly as a fire break).
