Beech - Chunky pebble spalted beech pendant from the Duchess Oak at Belvoir Castle [045-0102]

A chunky pebble shaped pendant made from spalted beech which has a beautiful pattern against the tight grain of the wood and finished in glossy hard wax. The pendant is black waxed cotton, adjustable from roughly 40-70cm/16-27", with sterling silver crimp ends which act like sliding knots (but nicer).

The pendant is roughly 5cm x 3.5cm x 2cm at the bottom which tapers towards the top.

The wood comes from the Duchess Oak at Belvoir Castle which was blown down in a storm.
