Sapele - Glossy, rich brown sapele teardrop earrings - I was in the offcuts bin [020-0059]

A pair of beautifully glossy sapele earrings. I love this wood because when you sand it, even to a high grit, it looks dull and boring. As soon as you apply the wax finish the grain just pops out.

The earrings are approximately 4 x 2.5 x 0.8cm.

The wood comes from the offcuts bin in Yandles, Somerset. They are a timber merchant with a wonderful selection of wood and a plentiful supply of offcuts for me.
