Oak - Striped oak pendant - I used to be a church pew [001-0026]

A handmade teardrop shaped wooden pendant using oak strips and finished with a satin hard wax polish. The oak is all from the same piece of wood but strips are showing alternate grain patterns which gives it the different shades. It has a black waxed cotton necklace.

The pendant is approximately 4.2cm x 2.7cm and 0.6cm thick.

The necklace is adjustable from around 30 - 80 cm using simple sterling silver crimp ends (the equivalent of sliding knots).

This oak was from a piece of church pew given to my neighbour for him to make into a beautiful dresser. I was lucky enough to get all the left overs.
